Hey! Welcome to Capital EDGE.

Our hope is that you find community in a Christ-centered church. We’re passionate about seeing people discipled to full maturity in Jesus. We moved to Canberra back in ‘07 to take on what is now Capital Edge Church; a Pentecostal community and a member of the Australian Christian Churches. We are a family church that values bible-based teaching, heartfelt worship and a real-life authentic focus on Christ. We can’t wait to meet you!

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We are a Christ-centered community passionate about seeing people grow in faith and purpose. Rooted in the foundational beliefs of the Australian Christian Churches (ACC), we express our faith through the lens of our vision: Know God, Become Like Jesus, Make a Difference.

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It reveals God’s heart and plan for humanity, guiding us to know Him intimately and live according to His truth.

  • We believe in one eternal God who exists as three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. This divine relationship invites us into a life of connection, purpose, and worship.


  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, including His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, sacrificial death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and promised return. Jesus is both Saviour and our example in living a righteous, holy life.

  • We believe salvation is a gift from God, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. This begins a lifelong journey of becoming like Jesus, healed, restored, and made new by His grace.

  • We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the Pentecostal expression of this. The Holy Spirit empowers believers with spiritual gifts, boldness, and guidance to live out their faith and impact the world. The Spirit leads us in truth and power.

  • We believe the Church is the body of Christ, a community where people are discipled, grow in faith, and serve one another in love. Together, we worship, encourage one another, and carry God’s mission to the world.

  • We believe in the return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and final judgment. This hope calls us to live with purpose, knowing that what we do in this life echoes into eternity.
